Lead the design, deployment, and management of Unified Communications systems, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity, and Telepresence Management Server. Act as a senior escalation point, resolving complex UC issues such as voice and video challenges and call routing conflicts. Oversee the management of UC endpoints, including Cisco VoIP phones and video conferencing systems. Plan and execute large-scale system upgrades, migrations, and hardware refreshes. Develop and enforce UC security policies to ensure compliance with DoD standards. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering skill development and technical excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless UC operations. Maintain and update operational documentation, including system architecture diagrams and technical guides. Deliver regular performance and activity reports to senior leadership, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
