This position will be based at Camp Henry, Korea.

The job of the Unified Communications Specialist is to provide UC support to the customer at Camp Humphreys.  This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas of responsibilities:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

VTC Network Maintenance Focal Point: Act as the primary contact for VTC network maintenance. System Administration and Sustainment: Provide software, system, and network administration and sustainment for strategic and tactical video walls, VTC suites, network hardware, and Multi-Control Units (MCU). Trouble Ticket Management: Take action on trouble tickets within 24 hours of receipt and document 100% of trouble tickets, including details of coordination and troubleshooting actions. Reporting: Report all actions and results from standards on the Weekly Activity Report (WAR) and Monthly Status Report (MSR). Network Hardware and Software Management: Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware and software, ensuring 100% compliance. Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with appropriate vendors for maintenance support, ensuring 100% compliance. Training Development and Delivery: Develop training materials and train on-site personnel in the proper use of VTC-Audio/Visual (A/V) hardware and software, ensuring 100% compliance. VTC and Telephone Conference Management: Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate VTC requests/sessions and telephone conferences, ensuring 100% compliance. Exercise and Contingency Support: Assist with VTC setup for all exercise and contingency support, ensuring 100% compliance. Global Video Services Support: Provide Global Video Services support to the 403rd Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) personnel, including creating GVS accounts and rooms, and connecting between GVS and VTC suites, ensuring 100% compliance. Site Surveys and Documentation: Conduct site surveys, assess, and document current site configurations and user requirements, with a pass or fail compliance. Cost-Saving Recommendations: Recommend cost-saving technical solutions and include a summary in the MSR, ensuring 100% compliance. Work Prioritization: Receive priorities of work from the 403rd S6 government representative identified by the COR, with a pass or fail compliance. IT Service Desk Support: Conduct all Task 2 IT Service Desk Support position duties when primary Unified Capabilities Support duties are concluded, with a pass or fail compliance.
