Job Description: \n

Responsibilities\n

The UCVADE will engineer, design and implement Unified Communications\/Collaboration voice\/video network, systems, and services. The UCVADE's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.\n

Job duties: \n\nHave a strong understanding of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), H.323, Solutions for Suggested Corridors Program (SCCP) protocols and codecs and be able to implement and integrate into new and existing network environments.\nIdentify and troubleshoot VoIP and Video QoS issues and recommend and implement mitigation strategies.\nTroubleshoot escalated issues to identify and repair complex network issues for WAN, LAN, Voice, and Video.\nComprise Implementation knowledge of QoS and Call Admission Controls (CACs) and be skilled in troubleshooting complex networks regarding call routing and gateways.\nAnalyze a myriad of networking metrics and recognize sub-par network.\nDevelop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security.\n\n

Qualifications\n\nSenior-level and higher- B.S. in related field AND 5 or more years relevant IT experience; OR 7 or more years relevant IT experience.\nMid-level or lower- Associates in related field and 3 or more years' relevant IT experience; OR 5 or more years of relevant IT experience.\nVCTA, CCNP and ITIL Foundation required.\nActive Secret Clearance required.\n\n
