Working under limited supervision, monitor building system operations and performance. Use several trade skills such as carpentry, sheet metal fabrication, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. Day Shift - Mon-Fri **What you’ll do** Follow all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety. Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client. Perform assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Complete maintenance and repair records as required. Review assigned work orders. Estimate time and materials needed to complete repair. Order necessary materials and supplies to finish tasks. Maintain the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements. Perform welding, sheet metal fabrication, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed. Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed. No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. **What you’ll need** High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver’s License required. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
