Local Union 94 Critical Operating Engineer

Pay $51.46 hourly

Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift with on-call 24/7 for emergency responses

Some of your day will include:

Maintain, monitor, and repair building systems (fire/life safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, emergency backup, hot water)Manage facility services, preventive maintenance, purchasing, inventory, and contracted maintenanceReview client service requests to address recurring issuesOversee contractor activities and provide necessary trainingEvaluate vendors and suppliers for qualityComply with emergency escalation proceduresImplement Critical Work Authorization Process (CWAP)Adhere to the Critical Awareness Process, technical bulletins, and engineering guidelinesDevelop MOPs, EOPs, and SOPs for specific applicationsMaintain engineering logs, data sheets, and building rounds recordsVerify delivery accuracyManage hazardous materials safelyConduct tool and instrument inventory checksPerform additional duties as required

Who are we looking for:

Required

A high school diploma or GED and two years of trade school in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.5+ years of commercial engineering experienceLocal Union 94 membership (or within 30 days of employment).Q-01 or Q-99 Refrigeration EngineerS-95 Supervision of Fire AlarmsS-12 City-Wide SprinklerS-13 City-Wide StandpipeF60 Torch operationsG60 Flammable gas torches

 

Preferred

Financial Institution experienceExperience in a data center/critical facility including UPS systems, emergency generators, and switchgear.Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and ExcelB-29 or B-28 Supervision of Battery Systems

Estimated total compensation for this position:

51.00 – 51.46 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
