An international agricultural products and services company, we handle agricultural commodities and have a diverse portfolio of products and businesses. **Summary** Perdue AgriBusiness, has an immediate full-time job opening for a **Union Soy Process Laborer** at our facility in **Chesapeake, VA.** The **Soy Process Laborer** is responsible to provide housekeeping and general labor duties throughout the soybean plant. _This position is a full-time, benefit eligible position that requires 12-hour, rotational shifts._ **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Operate housekeeping equipment to include mowing, trimming, and sweeping equipment. + Perform routine operator maintenance on housekeeping equipment. + Perform other routine housekeeping activities to include painting, dusting, and shoveling. + Perform other routine labor task as directed. + Perform all work within the safety guidelines established by local state, and federal agencies as well as company policies. **Preferred Education** + High School or GED, Further education is preferred. **Experience Requirements** + TWIC application is required + General industry safety knowledge. + Must possess basic omputer skills and be familiar with operating process from a computer-based system. + Multi-tasking a must. **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** Able to move freely throughout the agribusiness facilities including climbing vertical heights (0 -150'), carrying tools and equipment (0-50 lbs.), exposure temperatures (0-100) degrees Fahrenheit, humidity (0-100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
