JOB DETAILS: + Part time, 16-24 hours a week + Mon/Tues 8 hr days preferred + Flex start time + No call or weekends + 6-8 PPD + Start date: 1st week of november + Adults only population REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: + CA license + Board certified + DEA + BLS + 6-12 months minimum experience + Valid CA drivers license RESPONSIBILITIES: + Conducts initial psychiatric and diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacological medication management + Treats patients using a trauma-informed care approach + Reviews and approves intakes, case reviews, and treatment plans + May conduct individual and group psychotherapy if indicated + Confers with patient's relatives regarding treatment when a release is in place + Establishes and cultivates relationships with primary care and substance use disorder providers working with clients + Participates in training on Medi-Cal and Medicare documentation standards and practices + Provides crisis intervention support for programs and clients + Participates in professional development and training, including maintaining knowledge of major clinical trends and research developments in the field of psychiatry Why Work with Amergis – + Connecting you to work that matters.
