This role will partner with the leadership team and operate across all levels to drive Transactional Lean activities to impact product lifetime and process improvements that deliver revenue growth and lead time reductions, and act as a FLIGHT DECK coach, our systematic approach to running our business to deliver exceptional value as measured through the eyes of our customers.
The role will also engage with our lean, engineering, sales and strategy users across sites operations and headquarters to support cross-functional teams that satisfy the needs for activities including new product introduction, S&OP and customer experience.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and execute Lean Transformation within transactional areas to achieve business operating goals using KPI-based performance management.Coach and collaborate with all levels of the organization and functions of Unison businesses to help progress our Lean Culture and drive continuous improvement.Lead Value Stream Management events to create alignment and awareness of current state, coach transactional teams to build future state, support implementation and track progress.Be a Kaizen Champion and facilitate kaizen events to drive improvements using Standard Work, Visual Management and Action Plan.Participate in Unison’s Operating Cadences process including daily management meetings, operating reviews and support Problem Solving when needed.Provide solutions to manage productivity ideation within transactional areas.Drive connected solutions for Monthly, Weekly, Daily performance KPI’s from the top Tier to the department level and bring visibility of the top bottom line productivity opportunities.Oversee prioritization of DT business system transactional projects based on return on investment, support of the advancement of the lean transformation, while remaining within budget constraintsRequired Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.10+ Years Operational Excellence, Engineering or Supply Chain including large multi-site, complex, international manufacturing environments.Demonstrated success driving scaled lean transformation in operational and transactional areas.Willing to travel up to 50% of the time; travel up to 25% if based out of Jacksonville.Desired Characteristics and Expereince
