Unit Representative functions in the Emergency Department; responds to patients/ family's needs in a courteous, positive and timely manner with confidence and compassion that reflect AHS PRIDE values. Courteously and promptly answers multiple telephone calls, receiving and giving accurate and complete message to appropriate personnel according to hospital and departmental guidelines. Presents information in an articulate, organized and coherent manner.  Review and enter physician orders and file appropriately in patient's chart.  Calls attending physicians as directed by ED physician in a timely manner.
