Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Under indirect supervision the incumbent is a caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients ranging in age from 30 days to geriatric. Responsibility is for a designated time frame. The incumbent will help provide safe therapeutic care for our patients and assists other members of the healthcare team with providing basic patient care under the direction of an RN
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Unit Coordinator II/Tech or similar position in an acute care facility
Nursing Assistant course and/or patient care experience
Score of 88% on Monitor Technician exam competent to perform telemetry monitoring (to be obtained within 60 days of hire into the position)
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
