Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Unit Coordinator II/Technician is a caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric. Responsibility is for a designated time frame. The Unit Coordinator II/Tech will help provide safe therapeutic care for our patients under the guidance of the Registered Nurse Physicians Assistant Family Nurse Practitioner and Physician. Other health care team members will be utilized with the multidisciplinary processes.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Minimum requirements:
Previous experience as a Unit Coordinator II/Tech Six months monitor tech or equivalent level of experience in an acute care facility required (may waive based on operational needs of the department)BLS certification required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)Basic Cardiac DysrhythmiaPreferred qualifications:
Over two years experience as a Unit Coordinator II/Tech (or equivalent) in an acute care facility preferredTwo years of college education preferred
