Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Unit Extender/Secretary to join our team at Mercy Medical Center. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing exceptional treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
What you will do:
Meets/greets patients/family/visitor in a pleasant manner assisting them with comfort needs though out their hospital stay.Answers telephone calls, responds to routine inquiries, and relays messages. Responds to patient’s intercom calls and notifies appropriate personnel of patient’s request. Assembles medical charts and maintains charts by filing all necessary reports and results. Maintains confidentiality of the patient recordAssists with the coordination of patient needs for satisfaction. Orders meals, calls housekeeping, and notifies management if concerns are heard in the department.Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma/GED.Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.CPR/ Basic Life Support certification required (AMA or Red Cross)
Schedule
Full-Time, 36 hours Day shift7:00 AM to 7:30 PMMust work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled.Ministry/Facility Information
