Duties include patient registration, checking charts for orders, reading and interpreting the orders accurately, processing patient charges, revising patient profile information, collecting and entering data, maintaining required reports and logs, maintaining appropriate files, utilizing various means of communication and performing any other clerical activities as assigned. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values and ICARE standards while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement/Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: High School Diploma or Equivalent Excellent written and verbal communication skills PREFERRED: Clerical experience preferred Well rounded computer skills / knowledge preferred Pay Status: NON-EXEMPT HOURLY
