Overview
Kelemen 8 is a medical-surgical unit that cares for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, illnesses and disease processes. North and South 8 have telemetry capabilities for our patients. Kelemen 8 has frequent admissions and discharges.
Kelemen 8 can accept a total of 77 patients. The North side houses 37 patients, and the South side houses 36 patients. There are two negative pressure rooms with an anti-room.
There is a pharmacist present on the unit to assist the RNs with medication questions/concerns. Multidisciplinary rounds occur every Monday through Friday. Rounds involve all aspects of the healthcare team, including the patient and family.
Short Description Assumes responsibility for record keeping, and intra-departmental and Inter-departmental communications. Experience RequiredPrevious hospital unit secretary, medical office assistant or medical records experience preferred.
Clerical, communication, and customer service experience a plus.
Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required.
