Summary

The Unit Secretary Med Surg assists in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities on a patient care unit by performing clerical duties under the direction of one or more RN’s. Unit Secretary Med Surg performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education

High School Graduation or Equivalent required for Unit Secretary Med Surg Prefer Medical Terminology 

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations
Basic Life Support

Experience
None required. Prefer Six months to 1 year as Unit Secretary Med Surg
