These functions are to include, but not limited to medical records, documentation, charges/billing, clinical logs, surgical scheduling, implant records, data reporting, timekeeping and other duties as assigned. Responsible for direct supervision of non-clinical personnel as assigned. The Unit Supervisor will provide direct communication with the Nurse Director and Nurse Manager. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING + High school diploma or equivalent required + One to two years’ experience as a supervisor in an acute care facility preferred. + Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. + Working knowledge of computer systems, equipment and processes commonly performed within the surgical Business Office area. + Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. + Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines. + Analytical and problem-solving skills. + Customer Services experience required.
