This includes the transport of patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips and special equipment. Assists clinical staff with the transferring of patients to/from beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs safely. + Collects specimens, orders, requisitions and equipment and deliver items to appropriate destination. + Maintains equipment and report malfunctions immediately to the appropriate person. + Monitors surrounding environment for unsafe situations and equipment and reports issues to the appropriate person. + Prioritizes duties by demonstrating self-motivation, flexibility, and cooperation with changes in work volume, emergencies and staffing needs. + Works closely with the clinical staff to assure positive patient outcomes. + Maintains strict patient confidentiality + Retrieves equipment, delivers and maintenances stretchers, wheelchairs, infusion pumps and precaution carts. + Delivers medications from the pharmacy as routinely scheduled. + Performs the duties of a storeroom clerk as needed: answering phones, delivering supplies, processing incoming stock and coverage for after business hours to include holidays. **Scheduled Hours:** 37.5 hrs/wk **Work Shift:** Rotating, rotating weekend coverage **Education Preferred:** High School Diploma or equivalent. **Required Certifications:** AHA Heart Saver AED or BLS. **Benefits working at Anna Jaques Hospital:** + Tuition Reimbursement + Career Development and Opportunities + Free On-Site Parking + Discounts/Savings on various businesses. + Health and Wellness activities **Apply today and learn more!** **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
