Belmont University seeks a dedicated and passionate graduate student to join our Office of University Ministries as a Graduate Assistant. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the university's aspirational aim to be widely recognized as the leading Christ-centered university in the world. The Graduate Assistant will work closely with the Office of University Ministries staff to develop and implement initiatives that promote spiritual wellness and provide spiritual formation opportunities on campus and beyond.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the University Ministries team to plan and execute programs and events that enhance spiritual wellness, promote engagement in spiritual life, and foster a sense of belonging for all students. Assist in the development and facilitation of weekly Chapel services, Unlikely Friends programming and the Common Place worship experience. Support Belmont on Mission programming through trip administration and student team preparation. Support the Spiritual Life Ambassador (SLA) program through student engagement and program administration Collaborate with campus departments and external organizations to foster partnerships that promote spiritual wellness. Support students seeking resources related to spiritual life and development and connect them to appropriate campus resources. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Office of University Ministry’s online presence, including social media platforms and website content. Support the work of the University Ministries team through general office administration tasks.
