University Relations Manager
The University Relations Manager plays a vital role in shaping the future of BSWIR by leading our early career talent strategy. You’ll be at the forefront of cultivating, managing, and expanding partnerships with colleges and universities across Texas and beyond, serving as the primary liaison between BSWIR and our academic partners.
In this strategic role, you will be responsible for attracting, assessing, and securing top undergraduate and graduate talent for internship, residency, and new graduate opportunities. Your efforts will help fuel a pipeline of future leaders and innovators for our organization.
You will work in close collaboration with university career centers, academic departments, internal stakeholders, and hiring managers to ensure strong alignment between student capabilities and business needs. With a focus on candidate experience and brand elevation, you’ll help position BSWIR as an employer of choice among early-career professionals.
Responsibilities Lead and execute university engagement strategies, including organizing on-campus and virtual events, info sessions, and interviews.Build and manage strong relationships with university partners, student organizations, and campus career services.Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process for Residency Programs and New Graduate roles across assigned business units.Drive branding initiatives that highlight BSWIR as an employer of choice for early-career talent.Collaborate with internal teams and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop targeted recruitment plans.Track and report on hiring metrics, campaign performance, and pipeline trends to stakeholders.Partner with recruiters on interview coordination, offer management, and candidate communications.Maintain candidate engagement from offer acceptance through start date to ensure a smooth transition.Leverage recruitment tools (ATS/CRM) and campus job boards to identify and engage high-potential student talent. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:Nursing or Therapy degree preferred or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in university or early-career recruitingPreferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of the campus recruiting lifecycle and best practicesStrong organizational and time management skills with a results-driven mindsetExcellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across all levelsAttention to detail with the ability to think strategically and execute tacticallyTravel Requirements:
Travel is required up to 80–90% during peak campus recruiting seasons; off-season travel will vary based on event schedules.
