**POSITION DETAILS**
The University Office of the Registrar at The City University of New York (CUNY) is dedicated to delivering high-quality and consistent services across all CUNY colleges and schools. By coordinating and standardizing policies and processes, the University aims to maximize student success and streamline administrative operations for students, staff, and faculty alike. Reporting to the University Director of Records & Policy (Deputy University Registrar), the University Student Records Coordinator will play a critical role in providing administrative support in the management of the office functions. The Coordinator will also act as a liaison between the University Registrar’s Office, colleges, and Central Office administration, ensuring accurate communication and implementation of university policies and procedures.
In addition to the CUNY Title Overview information, other key duties include, but will not be limited to the following:
+ Collect, compile and analyze university-wide data on readmission and non-degree students; prepare reports and charts.
+ Research and organize admission and registration-related documents; assist with statistical analyses.
+ Draft and distribute policy implementation guidelines and other policy-related documents.
+ Create and organize files and databases to ensure accuracy.
+ Draft and distribute correspondence, reports and other documentation.
**NOTE** :
Until further notice, this position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum** **:**
Bachelor's Degree
**Preferred** **:**
+ Two years of related experience in college admissions, application processing or academic credential evaluations.
+ Familiarity with curriculum governance, transfer admissions requirements, transcript evaluations, and transfer credit policies.
+ Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and disseminate technical terminology to non-technical audiences.
+ Experience with databases and reporting tools such as CRM, Oracle/PeopleSoft and Crystal Reports.
+ Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to establish plans, manage multiple assignments with conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines in a time-sensitive and student responsive office.

**CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW**
Provides operational support for registration operations.
- Provides advice on academic and administrative registration requirements
- Interprets and communicates academic, registration and enrollment policies and procedures
- Assists with registration and provides information to prospective and enrolled students in registration and records-related areas
- Complies, generates, and updates various reports, catalogs, and inventories
- Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Collaborates with College and University offices to address inquires and concerns and resolve student registration and record problems
- May participate in activities related to course scheduling and maintaining course databases
- May monitor and revise the content of web pages and other communication materials
- Performs related duties as assigned.

**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**
The salary is **$44,411** .
