Job Description
As a Upgrade Install and Relocation (UIR) engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end installations, upgrades and relocations adjustments, calibrations, qualification of ASML lithography tools, and customer communication. This role requires a multidisciplinary engineering background and hands-on experience with complex semiconductor equipment in cleanroom environments.
Key Responsibilities
Execute installation and qualification of ASML lithography systems including mechanical, electrical, and software integration.Perform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root cause analysis to resolve installation issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide including project coordinators, system owners, technical support teams and customer representatives to ensure timely and successful system delivery.Support continuous improvement initiatives for effective installation from preparation through execution to wrap-up including tooling.Required Qualifications
English – Fluent or Native levelJapanese – Intermediate or aboveTechnical school, Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, or Software Engineering or equivalent technical discipline. However, we welcome applicants who completed other majors.Preferred Attributes

You will work at any customer site across Japan and possibly the world. Business trip to other sites can occur 50-90% of your life.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
