This Manager will need to wear many hats and is expected to lead, participate hands-on, and assist team in cell culture runs as to meet the client timelines. The team supports the development, scale-up, testing and technical transfer of numerous processes and modalities.
QualificationsAt least 3 years of experience working in upstream small scale and pilot labsExperience maintaining and managing lab-based equipment (including coordinating with vendor-supported maintenance)Experience with building, set-up and maintenance of small scale and pilot scale bioreactors, including execution of cell culture studies in both small scale and pilot labsAdherent cell line experience (including CHO and HEK)Technical transfer experienceMinimum of 2 years of successful independent leadership experience, including team succession planning, developing and managing schedules, establishing and monitoring KPIs and metricsProficiency with ELN and Microsoft SuiteClient service oriented, with effective communication skillsB.S., 5+ years of experience or M.S. 4+ years of experience or Ph.D., 3+ years of experience plus leadership experienceAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, with evening and weekend work as needed.
