**The purpose of the Urgent Care Technician is to provide maintenance of the units nurse’s station under the direction of Registered Nurses. The Urgent Care Technician position is a supportive role that facilitates the delivery of excellent care to our patients through clerical, clinical and receptionist roles.** **Education:** Required: High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) Required: Basic EKG and/or Dysrythmia education—if not present upon hire, completes within 1 month **Experience:** Preferred: At least two (2) years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment Required: Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
