Responsibilities The Urogynamics Technician, under direct clinical supervision, is responsible for operating urodynamics equipment and performing Urodynamics procedures and testing for patients. The technician will also prepare the room and patient preparation and education regarding the procedures. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Medical Equipment: AED, autoclave, BP cuffs (adult, infant, and pediatric), colposcopy, cryo unit, disposable equipment (gloves, goggles, gowns, etc), EKG machine, glycosometer, nebulizer, nitrogen cylinder, O2 cylinder, pulmonary function machine, pulse oximeter, scale (adult and infant), spirometer, stethoscope, thermometer, wheelchair, and woods lamp. Two years of direct Urodynamic experience. Must know urodynamic equipment. Must know urodynamic and related specialized genitourinary procedures. Registered or nationally certified Medical Assistant. Must maintain BLS certification; and, if required, maintain training in venipuncture. Preferred Job Requirements: Completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited institution
