Are you ready to join our team as a Forklift/Heavy Machine Operator? As a Contract Full-Time Operator, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to the success of our client in the oil and gas industry.

Role Overview

Forklift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate forklift to pick, load, and put away items in the Lubricants Warehouse. Inventory Management: Receive and count stock items, record data, and verify inventory computations. Storage and Organization: Pack, unpack, and store items in an orderly and accessible manner. Quality Control: Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Teamwork: Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers. Maintenance: Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with safety regulations. Record Keeping: Keep accurate records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.

Skills & Qualifications

Forklift Experience: 0-2 years of forklift experience required. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members. Analytical Ability: Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively. Detail Oriented: Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining accurate inventory records. Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant equipment and policies for safe operations. Security Awareness: Knowledge of security procedures to ensure the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.

Education & Experience

Experience: Minimum 0-2 years of forklift experience required. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certifications: Forklift operator certification preferred.
