What the day will look like The Facilities team helps insurance companies streamline their reinsurance purchases. Instead of many “individual risk” facultative reinsurance purchases, insurers can bundle them together in a “facility”. It is an exciting time to join the team as the Facilities reinsurance market is growing rapidly. In addition to growing rapidly, the Facilities team is exciting as it offers insurers the ability to purchase reinsurance on-demand via web app and API. Digital reinsurance sales are not the norm in the reinsurance industry but make this role unique and well-positioned for the future. Help client underwriters get data into FAConnect and purchase reinsurance via FAConnect. Review FAConnect data to ensure the data is clean. Work with the Accounting team to prepare the monthly premium bordereaux. Work with the Claims team to perform coverage checks. Assist senior brokers with special acceptance requests. Assist senior brokers with the preparation of renewal submissions and marketing efforts. Skills and experience that will lead to success 1+ years of work experience in Insurance or Financial Services required Commercial Property Insurance experience preferred. Data proficiency and professional work experience with a statistical programming language (e.g. R, Python) and/or SQL (or a willingness to learn). Process automation: you have experience not only owning processes but also have experience streamlining and automating those processes. Bias towards action: you don’t stand on the sidelines of life. You educational and work history demonstrate a bias towards action. Numerical proficiency: you’re good in math. Verbal proficiency: you’re good with words and can tell a good story. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, a related field, or equivalent years of industry experience. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $70,000 to $80,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
