About the Role:
Collective is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to help build a world class finance & accounting team!
This will be a foundational role that will help the company scale efficiently and set the company's finance department for success in the future. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a role that is both operational, but also strategic as we are constantly thinking about how to shape and set goals for the finance department.
⚒️ Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that books handled by your team meet required specifications for accuracy, completeness, and tax compliance. Interview candidates and onboard new hires. Collaborate, coach, and provide real-time feedback to staff. Create or update internal procedures for your function. Work with other teams and leads to identify the best solutions for members and ensure a smooth workflow, including product testing. Be cross-functional leaders focused on longer-term objectives. Manage complex programs, identify and implement process improvements for the larger group or organization, and exercise business and technical understanding to drive the organization's long-term objectives. Proactively initiate cross-functional projects and processes, make decisions about priorities, drive programs across their product areas, and show leadership and influence across teams. Proven ability to change, improve and automate processes without supervision and to obtain significant efficiency. Evaluate existing accounting systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency. Develop and implement standardized accounting procedures and workflows to streamline operations.
