US Agriculture Reporter
Bloomberg News is looking for an experienced and versatile reporter to cover grain markets and the world's largest agricultural commodities traders, including Cargill, Archer-Daniels-Midland Co. and Bunge. Based in Chicago or New York, you will be someone who can develop deep sourcing to break news on both publicly traded and private companies. You will be capable of delivering real-time breaking news and market coverage, as well as longer-form stories across the various Bloomberg platforms.
You will be a team player, who can work with counterparts in Asia and EMEA to break news and provide analysis on the companies that touch almost everything we eat in some shape or form. This is an exciting time to cover the industry amid the prospect of trade tariffs and renewed volatility across agricultural markets.
We will trust you:Break news on the companies and daily coverage of grain markets.Work with teams in other regions to break news and provide global insight.Deliver scoops, smart analysis and ambitious features.Bring or quickly develop deep sources in the industry.
You'll need to have:Experience covering agriculture or commodities markets.The ability to excel in a fast-paced, breaking news environment and make sound news decisions quickly.The versatility to delve into technical elements of a subject while also stepping back to present stories in a way that will engage and inform our broad global audience.A collaborative style and ability to work with colleagues globally.

Salary Range = 90000 - 120000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
