What the day will look like Aon Consulting, Inc. seeks a US Data Science - Professional reporting to headquarters in Chicago, Illinois to analyze healthcare data for insurance services. Analyze data and data analysis methodologies for healthcare data. Analyze datasets using statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques. Build statistical and machine learning models for health claims and risk datasets including eligibility data, medical claims, and prescription drug claims data. Collaborate with data engineering team on data pipelines. Translate and simplify results for presentations on data analyses. Design, develop, and deploy statistical models. Maintain industry knowledge of vendors and startups in the healthcare space, including in the areas of healthcare navigation, digital health, and care delivery. Evaluate the data of healthcare costs, outcomes, utilization, and major drivers. Design visualization tools and reporting automation using Tableau, Power BI, plotly, and shiny. Support client teams and actuaries with data related requests. Develop validation and quality control methodologies. Conduct data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and predictive analysis. Apply statistical model training and validation, causal inference methods, and statistical testing to data analysis of health claims datasets. Utilize R, Python, and SQL programming to analyze and visualize data. Telecommuting available 5 days a week. Annual salary: $138,715 - $191,100. Job Location: 200 E. Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601 Skills and experience that will lead to success Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field plus five years of progressive data analytics experience. Must have at least five years of experience in each of the following: 1. Analyzing datasets using statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques; 2. Designing visualization tools and reporting automation using Tableau, Power BI, plotly, and shiny; 3. Conducting data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and predictive analysis; and 4.
