To realize this goal, we gain a deep understanding of the education sectors we engage with—at all levels from strategic to tactical. We create a vision that inspires educators to transform their classrooms and campuses using Apple products. We collaborate closely with internal and external partners to create plans for solutions and new use cases, and then we help drive execution of the solution. As a US Education Sales Strategic Initiatives Lead, you will develop and implement successful strategies for informing policy and practices that reflects and supports Apple’s sales efforts, priorities, and values in the US Education market. In this role, you will provide leadership, vision, and coordination to dramatically advance Apple’s sales, values, mission, and goals. This role requires some domestic travel.DescriptionDescriptionIn this role, you will: Develop, identify and enhance specific business opportunities in the K-20 market for Apple Education products and solutions. Advocate and inform leaders in state and local government, K-12 and Higher Education around Apple Education’s priorities, values and competitive strengths. Identify and catalyze partnerships with civic, education and government leaders at multi-state level to drive business development in alignment with Apple strategic priorities. Drive actions and high-impact initiatives among legislative/executive decision-makers and education influencers in support of transformative digital programs that are at scale or have the potential to scale. Create, identify and leverage state and federal funding streams to support efforts across targeted states. Build strategic relationships across a broad spectrum of decision-makers, elected officials and civic leaders. Communicate Apple’s values and competitive advantages to create a sense of urgency among elected officials, policymakers and public sector leadership. Curate technology pilots or large-scale initiatives; Modify existing funded technology initiatives in ways that help drive sales opportunity; Reallocate dollars from other budget areas to make digital innovation through technology a priority. Organize and participate in executive briefings and events for elected officials and key collaborators focused on education, technology, and related government policy and funding. Provide information and consultation to Apple management and the field sales teams about state and federal technology funding opportunities and public policy trends.
