Sr. Manager, US International Transportation The Sr. Transportation Manager is accountable for maintaining, and optimizing efficient solutions supporting the international distribution of finished goods in and out of the US, and inbounds of raw materials for manufacturing sites in the US: compliance, service, quality, cost, CO2 emissions driver.  The main missions are:   Supports a best-in-class service-oriented solutions, conversion to innovative and cost/CO2 efficient transportation modes, strategy with main freight forwarders and carriers.Takes the accountability of each project relative to her/his scopeIn coordination with purchasing, drives negotiation with the most important supplier base of bioMérieux in terms of spend.Is responsible for implementing and maintaining compliant practices in regard to international regulations and government compliance (C-TPAT, DOT, FAA, HAZMAT).Is accountable and responsible for following, potential build, of the US International Transport budget (10-25M€)Manage a potential team composed of experts in international transportationKey Performance Indicators (KPIs):  Transportation metrics, monthly meetings performance follow up, quality adherenceProvide in time and operational specifications for new carriersTransportation complaints registration analysis  and follow up of files opened, valuation of scrap and damages due to transportation issues   Who are you?    Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree  with at least 5+ years experience in Supply Chain/LogisticsDemonstrated capability to identify long term opportunities, build and deliver a strategic roadmap.Ability to create a partnering spirit with service providers in close collaboration with purchasing, and internal stakeholders (InterCo teams, subsidiaries and distributors, Finance, HSE, trade compliance)Experienced manager in a multicultural environment with a analytical mindset Customer and solution oriented, knowing English.  European language a plus    bioMérieux welcomes applications from all individuals, regardless of race, national origin, gender, age, physical characteristics, social origin, disability, union membership, religion, family status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or any unlawful criterion under applicable law.
