The US Marketing Manager, Respiratory, Enterics, and Healthcare Acquired Infections, is responsible for driving US market growth and awareness of critical molecular diagnostics assays within the BD MAX™ assay portfolio. This role reports to the Associate Director of Marketing – Molecular, Women’s Health, and Cancer and focuses on overall US tactics, brand execution, brand management, and communications strategy, emphasizing deep customer insights, impactful value propositions, campaigns, and a vision to inspire others that leads to growth.
In this role, the US Marketing Manager will develop tactical and implementation strategies to drive accelerated growth in the US Region, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. They will drive market adoption and awareness for BD MAX™ Acute Care Assays through strategic marketing initiatives and leverage deep customer insights to create impactful value propositions and marketing campaigns. Additionally, they will contribute to strategies for expansion into adjacent markets, including ASR Strategy, regional opportunities, business case development, and other special projects related to the IDS strategy.

Responsibilities:
Leads and owns US execution and implementation plans of global brand strategy, identifying and prioritizing key targets for growth, communicating product value, and embedding a strong customer-centric focus into the portfolio.
Earns trust and maintains engaging and inspiring relationships with multiple functions within the U.S. Regional Team, including but not limited to sales, service, contracts, and global marketing, to deliver best-in-class marketing tailored to the market and the customer they serve.
Doubles down on energy for respiratory seasonal drive, creating meaningful campaigns and activities that ignite US reach to customers in this critical time.
Creates a strong partnership with the product management counterpart to ensure a seamless transition of customer research and product management into downstream action.
Reports against KPIs and ROI of these tactical activities back to the Associate Director of Marketing and other key stakeholders, making proactive recommendations for improvements.
Develops regular U.S. platform updates, including targeting, messaging, research, customer personas, and value propositions.
Leads marketing plans and ASR global guidance for the portfolio, creating and setting clear vision, strategies, and goals for U.S. tactical success.
Develops/maintains a clear understanding of current MDx markets, customers, and patients the product serves.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Excellent presentation and communication skills—written and oral—for a wide variety of audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues, team members, customers, and potential or existing business partners.
Leadership presence with the ability to utilize organizational channels, experience, and influencing skills to effectively negotiate and persuade others, comfortable with complex and matrixed-team environments.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities. Ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing.
Flexibility to travel to U.S. customer sites at least 20% of the time.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree required, preferably within the area of focus; Four-year scientific, marketing, or business degree preferred. MBA optional.
3-5 years of experience in US strategic marketing, global marketing, or product management with a focus on commercialization excellence, product and portfolio management, and brand strategy.
Excellent presentation skills.
Strong business acumen.
Background in molecular testing categories.
Creative out-of-the-box problem solver who is intellectually curious, stays current on new trends, and takes calculated risks with novel ideas.
Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
Experience leading complex teams in a matrix organization without direct authority.
