Our Logistics and Mission Support Division is seeking a US&R (Urban Search & Rescue) Technician II to join our team in Edgewood, MD in support of Defense CBRN Response Force mission. \n
\n

The selected candidate will perform the following responsibilities:\n\nMaintain, troubleshoot, and repair US&R equipment, ensuring it meets operational standards for DCRF missions.\nPrepare refresh and sustainment equipment for US&R and Medical Company Area Support (MCAS)\nPerform regular inspections and testing of equipment to ensure functionality and readiness.\nSupport logistics coordination for equipment delivery, fielding, and sustainment activities.\nProvide technical guidance and support to personnel regarding US&R equipment operation.\nAssist with the inventory maintenance and recertification of equipment.\nIdentify and address equipment shortages or service needs.\nSupport the maintenance and troubleshooting of MCAS equipment and software used in DCRF missions.\nUtilize, and maintain inventory system (VIPER) to track equipment status and updates.\nPrepare and update documentation, including maintenance logs and reports.\nRequired to travel to fielding, and sustainment visits in various locations about 25% of the time.\nUpdate the Program Manager weekly on working tasks, activities, and responsibilities.\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant military experience preferred.\n2+ years of experience in US&R equipment maintenance, and\/or MCAS,\nStrong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and knowledge of US&R and MCAS equipment.\nExperience with mission command systems and automation tools is a plus.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nAssist team with movements, inventories, and refresh.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.\nMust be eligible for a security clearance.\nExperience with inventory systems and computer skills such as Microsoft Office.\nMust be comfortable working in warehouse and field environments.\n\n

Preferred Qualifications:\n\nUS Military CBRN US&R position experience.\nUS Military logistics understanding such as supply accountability, and supply storage.\nUS&R equipment knowledge experience.\nSmall engines knowledge.\nForklift driver (Stand up and\/or Sit down) experience.\n\n

Additional Qualifications:\n\nThis position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.\nValid Driver's License\n\n
