Join our Transcom Family as a Recruiter!His/her main duties include providing support to the Recruitment department from application set up through candidate show on day one of employment – including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.Recruitment Specialist must explain requirements and duties to candidates, as well as assist the Recruitment Supervisor in achieving targets and maintain a good relationship with employees, employers, and candidatesA Recruitment Specialist performs data entry to input and update applicant information in the candidate database.They uphold confidentiality when handling applicant information.Ensure that all the necessary paperwork is filed and that applicant forms are completed and processedTo ensure that all candidates receive a friendly and consistent service
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct screening of candidates on phone and videoConducts in-depth interviews, Assess of applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudesPreparing contracts and communicating all onboarding documents to new employeesEnsure job requirements and expectations are clearly communicated to candidates and that they are assessed against the desired criteria for the roleProcess Background and Criminal Record ChecksMaintains and tracks requirements of newly on-boarded employeesOwn the negotiation process with final-stage candidates, from offer to acceptance.Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection processParticipate in monthly calibration sessionsMaintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all timesAdhere to assigned performance metrics
Additional Specific Duties & Responsibilities:Coordinates with different hiring leaders for manpower requisitionsWork on different recruitment tools to guarantee quality of hires and efficiency in hiringBuild trusting relationships with potential hiresParticipates in calibration meetings and communicates the needs/demands of hiring accountsPerforms other related tasks from time to timeAssist in contacting applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration and selection.Attend job fairs and recruitment eventsPrepares daily and weekly reports based on function and needOther duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role you must…
Above average communication skills in written and oral EnglishSolid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc)Preferably with at least 1 year of related work experienceHands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check, etc)Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)Ability to multi-taskGood interpersonal and organizational skillsAmenable to work on shifting scheduleAchieve goals and targets Consistently demonstrate behaviors emulating Transcom valuesConsistently adhere to company policies and code of conductFamiliarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)Ability to work in teams, as well as work on their own with minimal supervisionStrong decision-making skillsPromote the company’s reputation as the “best place to work”Preferred experience with high-volume hiringPreferred experience in the Call Center BPO industryPreferred experience working with candidates in the United States and/or CanadaWhat Life at Transcom is like!
