Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead teams of HR specialists or managers to deliver the strategy for a specific HR functional area in a particular geography, in alignment with group directives and wider HR strategy. Each day, you will represent the needs of the area to the group Center of Expertise. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with HR Business Partners (HRBP) to provide a seamless service to the business.The work model for the role is: hybrid - 3 days per week in office #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area division in the US. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tActing as a speaking partner to the business to advise on strategy, process and policy, and best practices in relation to talent acquisition.•\tImplementing and continuously optimizing HR talent acquisition processes and procedures.•\tContributing to, supporting, and leading where appropriate, Talent Acquisition functional design projects and pilots.•\tDeveloping and implementing cluster/country-specific programs in area of talent acquisition and employer branding.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s or master’s degree with at 12+ years’ professional HR experience in a high performing global organization, or an RPO. A minimum of 8 years’ experience with full lifecycle recruiting including developing sourcing/marketing plan, candidate outreach and development, offer and close.Team lead or management experience with 5+ years of direct reports. Demonstrated success with various recruiting strategies and techniques.Strategic mindset with a thorough understanding of business drivers and Talent Acquisition within the HUB.Strong end-to-end process thinking and experience of managing change projects. Knowledge of different recruitment platforms and experience leveraging the tools to source candidates as well as manage relationships. Prior experience working across cultures and with multi-function stakeholders.Ability to network with and influence senior Business and HR leaders globally; exceptional communication skills, strong customer service orientation with proven consulting and influencing skills.Experienced coach and developer of others.This role is based in Cary, NC.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
