Job Description

This is a phone based internal position where the incumbent will manage incoming customer calls, as well as temporarily support clients transitioning to Financial Consultants.  This role will require handling inbound calls, and providing outstanding service solutions to meet clients’ financial needs.

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

Handle inbound calls from clients, responding efficiently and accurately.  Understanding needs and explaining possible solutions ensuring clients feel support and valued.Enhance client satisfaction through proactive understanding of the client’s needs and objectives while providing appropriate support around the client investment/insurance service needs and maintaining consistent with compliance and operations standardsProactive daily client management of operational itemsResponsible for identifying cross sell opportunities for branch based Financial Consultants to drive organic growth and increased wallet share of existing clients through a differentiated client experienceContinually build knowledge and capabilities within client segment and stay current with competitive trends.Maintain compliance with all applicable bank, broker/dealer, State and Federal regulations associated with the sale of investment and insurance products including Santander Policy Statement governing the sale of uninsured products.Maintain required professional training and license requirements, including knowledge of FINRA compliance, FDIC compliance, the Bank's uninsured Products Policy Statement and all applicable state and federal regulations.


Qualifications:

Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independentlyExperience and comfort with phone-based support, with history of financial or investment product support.Excellent listening skills and the ability to explain complex information in a simple and concise manner, verbally and in writing.Knowledge of regulatory requirements to ensure a sound control environmentFINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 (or 66) Securities Licenses and Life/Health Insurance licenses


Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred or relevant equivalent experience

Work Experience:

3-5 years of experience providing investment guidance and advice to clients in a call center environment

Strong knowledge of sales support and effective sales enhancement techniques within the industryAbility to work independently and set appropriate priorities to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and evaluative skills with ability to measure program performance and make recommendations for improvementVendor relationship experience helpfulAttention to detailSelf motivator and creative thinkerExcellent communication skills, including strong presentation skills and writing abilityMaintains appropriate sales licensingP.C. software applications (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.)

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Minimum:

$58,125.00 USD

Maximum:

$92,500.00 USD
