Job DescriptionThe Client Services Director is a member of the USBAM Sales Enablement & Client Experience team. This leader is a strong contributor and manager, responsible for a small team providing client service support for Advisory clients. The client services team oversees compliance, communication, client onboarding, contract management, and client data/records management for advisory clients.
Initially this individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a horizontal client onboarding process across the business. This process will support the onboarding and re-boarding of clients/accounts and consider circumstances where external stakeholders are involved. Adjacent to this top priority, this role will be responsible for evaluating, action planning, and implementing any needed remediation related to the record keeping and accuracy of client data.
Ongoing, the Client Service Director and the team will collaborate with both internal teams as well as external customers to ensure the successful and timely completion of onboarding projects in alignment with customer needs and expectations. The team may support additional functions such as managing client inquiries and proactive outreach strategies as capacity allows.
The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of data architecture and systems used to support institutional clients. This leader is an action-oriented change leader who can identify and solve complex problems quickly. They are consistently working to improve processes and optimize efficiency. Ability to manage multiple projects and implement new solutions quickly. This leader will have strong organizational and analytical skills. They are process driven with an affinity towards technology solutions. An ability to zoom out and see the big picture and zoom in to analyze key details. They have a collaborative spirit and understand when and how to gain alignment with internal stakeholders and build support for change.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceEight or more years of experience in the financial services or investment management industryExperience working with Institutional Clients in client service, operations, and/or project managementThree or more years of leadership experience and management of employeesProficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power Point, and Word)Preferred Skills/Experience
FINRA licensed Series 6, 26, and 63Considerable knowledge of investment management industryThe role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00 - $144,430.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
