Do you have good customer service skills and a basic understanding of assessing pre-owned vehicles? Servco is looking for a Used Car Purchasing Specialist to assist with purchasing pre-owned vehicles directly from customers at our Used Car Buying Center.

Responsibilities:

Receive in-bound calls and make out-bound calls to schedule appointments for sellers to meet with the Used Car Buying Center Manager or Used Car Purchasing SpecialistSource used car sales leads via Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc.Appraise vehicles on site and remotely using Inventory Plus softwareObtain Buying Center Manager’s approval to purchase pre-owned vehiclesCommunicate purchase price to customer and inform Buying Center Manager if customer accepts or wants to negotiate furtherAssist Buying Center Manager with obtaining purchase documents and have customer properly complete purchase documentsObtain vehicle keys from customer and transport vehicle to Servco Pre-owned lot

Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalentBusiness or Auto Technology degree preferredMinimum of two years of customer service work experienceValid driver’s license and clean driving recordAbility to operate standard shift preferredAuto sales or vehicle appraisal work experience preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer relations skillsKnowledge of automotive makes and modelsBasic proficiency with Word and ExcelDealerTrack, Dealersocket, Roadster, and/or Inventory Plus experience preferredMulti-tasker and able work in a fast-paced work environmentDetail oriented with strong math/financial skillsMust be customer savvy, a team player, and able to adapt to changesWork schedule: 9:00am - 6:00pm with Tuesday/Sunday off

* Starting base pay is $17 per hour plus incentives. Total pay, including incentives, dependent upon individual job performance.
