Job Description:
Key individual contributor to Quality Control (QC) project teams within T&O and/or lines of business. Works with project teams to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed and/or design and execute test plans and procedures for acceptance testing of new or modified applications and/or systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, hardware technology and tools, etc. Provides guidance in the creation of standard test environments, tests plans, and test scripts. Prepares and conducts acceptance testing of new or modified applications and systems. As a senior member of the technical staff, assists senior business and IT management in determining the direction of current and future developments in area of expertise. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization. Provides feedback and technical guidance to project managers on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.
