Role Overview
As the User Acquisition Lead for , you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing customer acquisition campaigns across app and web marketing channels. Your primary goal is to increase our user base efficiently and sustainably, working closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and analytics. You will manage budgets, optimize campaigns, and drive innovative strategies that align with our growth objectives. We're seeking someone passionate about driving results with excellent strategy and communication skills, who's truly entrepreneurial. We're looking for someone who wants to research new keywords, write a clear analysis of recent campaign optimizations for the broader team, and do competitive analysis all within the same day. This is a senior individual contributor role with a small team. You'll report to the VP of Marketing.
For this role, we're seeking candidates available within Pacific Time (PT) ± 3 hours, including MT, CT, and ET.Key ResponsibilitiesOptimize and Scale User Acquisition Campaigns: Continuously monitor and optimize user acquisition campaigns across various app and web channels, including Apple Search Ads, ASO, Google App Ads and SEM, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and others to improve CACs and ROAS.Data Analysis: Analyze campaign data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations.Reporting: Prepare and present regular performance reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets to ensure efficient and effective use of resources to achieve KPIs.Testing: Develop iterative and innovative hypotheses and conduct A/B tests to optimize ad creatives, landing pages, and overall user experience.Collaboration: Work closely with the product, analytics, and creative teams to develop reporting, campaigns, compelling ad creatives, and landing pages.Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and the mobile app industry.Leadership: Manage a small team, collaborate effectively across the organization, and effectively communicate  strategies, targets, and resultsQualificationsExperience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in performance marketing and/or user acquisition —  ideally with mobile subscription apps.Skillset: Strong proficiency in digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google SEM, Google App Ads, Facebook Business Manager, etc.) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Adjust, etc.).Analytical Mindset: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions. Experience with Adjust or equivalent MMP is a must. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter who takes ownership of channels and results, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
