As a User Experience Designer I on the Aerospace Technologies’ HUE Team, you will report to the Global Director of User Experience and help to define the design direction and contribute directly to creating the next generation of user experience on a wide variety of leading-edge products and services. This can include General Aviation, Business, Commercial, and Military aircraft avionics, Space, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), web-based and app-based software, and even virtual reality solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams to develop needs-based solutions, develop personas, conduct user research, define UX metrics and outcomes, and act as a voice for the customer and end user throughout the product development life cycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Participating in workshops and design sprints across multi-disciplinary teams to develop business cases, product and service design concepts, and defining UX metrics and outcomes
· Contributing to user-centered design initiatives across a wide range of projects
· Collaborating with senior designers and stakeholders to define and/or improve experiences across a wide range of offerings
Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive UX strategies aligned with business goals. Support user-centered design principles throughout the organization. Contribute to the definition and design of end-to-end UX/UI solutions for all digital touchpoints that have customer implications across our products, services, and offerings Contribute to defining the design requirements and task flows for connected experiences across multiple services and/or products Participate in user research activities to gain insights into user behavior and preferences. Utilize research findings to inform design decisions and improve user experiences. Contribute to the design process from concept to final implementation through all UX aspects of projects, helping to identify solutions to customer and business needs by using Figma to develop high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes. Contribute to the Definition, Design, Development and Maintenance of Design Systems for different types of solutions and applications Stay informed about design industry trends and best practices in UX design.YOU MUST HAVE
· Bachelor’s Degree in a Design-related field of expertise
· 1-2 years of experience in User Experience Design, Product Design & Development, and Service Design
· 1-2 years of experience with creating digital graphical user experiences across web and/or mobile device applications
1-2 years of working with and contributing to Design Language Systems

Design Portfolio demonstrating application of User Experience Design principles, design concepts and ideation, solving complex problems, providing value to both the business and the customer, and contribution to commercialized products that exist in the world
10% Travel may be required for this role.
