This US-based remote opportunity will require periodic travel to our corporate headquarters in Johnston, RI, which is part of the greater Providence area.

Responsibilities

As an Experience Design Co-Op, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world problems and solutions with a team of talented designers. Your projects may consist of research and design activities that support our technology products.

Qualifications

Schedule 

Must be able to work full time 37.5 hours a week for 6 months. Hours: 9am to 5pm EST Monday- Friday 

Education

Must be enrolled as a full-time student studying design or a design-related degree program in an undergraduate 4-year accredited institution or pursuing a graduate degree during the Fall 2025 Semester be considered.

 

Technical Skills  

Collaborating with designers and product owners to deliver compelling design solutionsUsing and contributing to the design system to promote design consistency and efficiencyCreating user journeys, storyboards, task flows, wireframes, and prototypesTracking and communicating project statusManaging workload and meeting deadlines 

Experience in some or all of the following areas:

User interface designUser experience designUser researchDesign systemsFigma (or other design and prototyping tools) 

Basic understanding of the following concepts is preferred:

Understanding user needsUsability and accessibility best practicesDesigning for complex systemsGathering requirementsSoftware development process 

Soft Skills

Ability to work effectively in a team settingProblem solving and critical thinkingAttention to detailDesire and willingness to learn new technologies 

The hiring range for this position is $24.00 to $33.00 per hour. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
