As a User Experience (UX) Research Intern at JPMorgan Chase, you will have a hand-on experience designing real-world projects, deepening your knowledge, and practicing new skills in partnership with dedicated mentors who will guide you through the entire journey of your internship. Our UX Research internship is a 12-week, full-time program centered around supporting the UX, product design and experience operations within an internal-facing organization. The internship will take place in Summer 2025.
Job responsibilities
Collaborate with a network of supportive colleagues from cross-functional UX teams including design, engineering, product, and business to understand the firm and client needs Conduct UX research on employee-facing products and initiatives to drive strategic business solutions and design decisions Construct and present research deliverables to deliver insights to stakeholders Conduct interviews, contextual inquiry, evaluative research, survey design, etc.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Currently working towards a Master's or PHD degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Psychology, Social Science or other related discipline, with an expected graduation / conferral date in Spring/Summer 2026 Eligibility to work in the United States Ability to commit to a 12 week full-time (40 hrs/week) internship with a hybrid work schedule (Jersey City is currently observing a 3 day in office hybrid schedule, and is in process of transitioning to a 5 days in office per week schedule soon.) Expertise in qualitative research methods and frameworks, such as in-depth interviews, focus groups, journey mapping, card sorting, or usability studies Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels or the organization Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills Ability to work in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment Drive and capacity to advocate on behalf of our users A portfolio of work or case studiesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
