Element has an opportunity for a NDT - Ultrasonic Inspector, Nas 410 Level I and Level II to perform Testing using specific techniques on aerospace products. Uses knowledge of products, manufacturing processes, equipment set-up, and NDT methods to process parts for inspection following specific operating procedures. Interprets and evaluates test results.

 

 

Responsibilities Perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specificationsAccurately record results and associated data of nondestructive tests and evaluationsMaintain familiarity with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used and exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Level I technicians.Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Actively contribute to company safety culture by observing all company safety policies and proceduresUse caution and proper handling of company property, equipment, tools, and customer productMaintain a high level of energy to deliver customer parts on time or ahead of schedule Skills / Qualifications High school diploma/GED requiredNAS 410 Level 1 or Level 2 experience (or equivalent) with documented evidence of qualification.Written Communication: ability to read and interpret information, write legibly, take accurate measurements from a tape measure, present numerical data effectively, and edit work for correct spelling and grammarSelf-motivated, with the ability to problem solve and analyze information skillfullyAbility to clearly communicate with team members, supervisors, and all others throughout the organization in a professional mannerAbility to lift and carry 50 poundsProficiency using computers (word, & excel)Sufficient vision, either natural or corrected, with ability to pass annual vision exams
