Our relentless pursuit to be the benchmark in the tequila industry drives us forward, one bottle at a time. + Working with friends and feeling at home, that’s what we do in Diageo! **About you:** **We’re looking for an Engineering leader with a technical basis and a sustainability mindset for leading renewable energy projects, with a drive to be the best and to lead and coordinate the activities of the Utilities equipment’s for the agave process, like bioboilers, energy storage systems, wastewater treatment plant, biogas generation and others.** **Focus to make sustainability improvements with the use of alternative energies, who can contribute their passion, leadership and knowledge to support the technician team and suppliers, to coordinate them and monitoring of objectives, adding to the effort of the plant team to achieve high performance, in order to deliver our goals with 0 accidents and drive sustainability inclusion and diversity, in our mission to be the leader in the Tequila industry from Plant to Glass.** **About the role:** **Manage and review a specialized suppliers like an extended technical team, and support to do correctly all the maintenance activities, ensuring that work respecting the agreed safety and quality guidelines, monitoring performance, and delivering results.** **Manages the execution of the maintenance plan assigned to your area. Ensure and increase the reliability of the equipment by attending to the notices and maintenance plans generated in the SAP system.** **Control the use of all the energies in the plant. Biomass, Biogass, water, diesel, solar, etc.** **Administers and manages resources to carry out major annual maintenance. Authorize plant shut down for the execution of work, making sure to physically inspect the areas where the release will be made.** **Arranges a deal or agreement with the functional areas of quality, production, sustainability based on the needs that will be supplied and control consumption.** **Implements and follows HSE guidelines. Provides technical advice and advice on Diageo's way of working.** **Take part in investment projects from the definition to implementation and start-up.** **Lead technical meetings and with engineering & sustainability department support the Innovation agenda.** **Know and work in a global culture, to be a leader in implementing manufacturing practices of operational, safety, and administrative excellence, developing as a comprehensive professional, which will open the doors to grow within the company.** **Qualifications and Experience Required:** **Language native Spanish and advance English level is needed.** **Engineering bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or similar.** **Extensive experience in Utilities equipment´s.** + Communication skills to interact with technicians, suppliers, and operations. + People Management and teamwork. + Software MS Office, MS Project, SAP PM. + Interpretation of mechanical and electrical drawings. General knowledge to control PLC, HMI, VFDs. + Focus and use problem solving tools. + Manage, develop, deliver, and manage the use of different energy and fuels; provide an electrical service and steam service. support on landfill biogas-to-energy. + Transmission, Self-supply, Mexico main electrical grid. + Diesel Generators + Generation by Combined Heat and Power + Biomass Boilers + Dual Biogass / Biodiesel Boilers. Support on landfill biogas-to-energy. + Solar energy + Hight technical skills in electrical power (High and Medium Voltage), use of different incomers, users. + Main electrical distribution boards, + Ring Main Unit + Electrical Turbines + Knowledge on the following special technical skills + Wells, Water Treatment plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant + Compressed air + Proactive, Responsible, and committed.
