We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional to join us as the **Utilities Practice Lead** . This senior role involves overseeing and driving the performance of the Dry and wet utilities design teams while ensuring the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary projects across AD Sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in growing this sector while achieving recognized strategic and financial targets. Your new role, what's involved? **Team Management:** + Lead and manage the Utilities Team, including power, Communication, Security and Monitoring, water, drainage, sewage, Irrigation, gas, and chilled water service lines. + Monitoring the Utilities Teams and work on Team development from performance and technical growth perspective. + Foster a collaborative and innovative working environment to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. + To manage all utilities services requirements across Parsons AD Portfolio and report to the sector infrastructure director. **Leadership and Strategy:** + Provide strategic leadership, fostering innovation and excellence in project delivery. + Contribute to the successful execution of multi-disciplinary projects by collaborating with other department heads and stakeholders. + Ability to grow the service lines through market intelligence and client relationships. **Client Relationship Management:** + Build and maintain strong relationships with our key clients to maintain organic growth. + Client centric mindset who can establish new service lines or growth in new areas to the business. + Act as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. **Operational Excellence:** + Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices and manage the team capabilities. + Strong understanding of the sectors win-work strategies and projects delivery. + Oversee the design and development of utilities infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, and electricity. + Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and contractors throughout project lifecycles. + Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. + Conduct technical reviews of design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations. + Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to address project requirements and obtain necessary approvals. + Implement innovative design solutions and technologies to optimize utilities infrastructure performance and sustainability. + Discipline progress control and reporting to Infrastructure Director. + Identify and report any changes (variations). + Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for complex infrastructure projects. + Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. + Monitor the project's progress and the allocation of resources; initiate changes as required. + Work with the discipline Engineers and Project Principal on resolving issues with the design. + Lead design workshops and presentations to key clients for all utility disciplines. + Ensure proper controls are in place for all disciplines i.e. QA/QC, contract compliance etc. + Support in the development of our Middle East Business through active engagement with our clients and input into tendering. + To contribute to BIM implementation and design Automation in AD Office. We'd love to hear from you if you have: + Master’s degree in civil engineering, Water Engineering, Infrastructure or a related discipline; a master’s degree is a must. + Minimum of 20 years of experience in water and Power services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. + Proven expertise in managing large, diverse teams and delivering complex engineering projects. + Excellent client management skills with a track record of developing and sustaining client relationships. + Familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks and industry standards in Abu Dhabi. + Exceptional strategic leadership and decision-making abilities. + Ability to inspire, mentor, and lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
