Summary You will serve as a UTILITIES SUPERVISOR II in the Utilities Branch, FacilitiesSupport Division, Facilities Department, Navy Region Northwest of NAVFAC NORTHWEST. Responsibilities You will plan work assignments on an immediate and long range basis. You will be accountable for the quantity and quality of the work performed. You will spot check work and review completed work inspection reports to assure that production and quality standards are met. You will schedules leave, rates subordinate supervisors on performance, and reviews recommendations for disciplinary and adverse actions, promotions, awards and training. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Call back and emergency overtime are regular requirements of this position. This position requires evening and weekend work. This position requires the employee to travel occasionally away from the normal duty station. Work requires the employee to drive a vehicle. A valid Driver's License is required. Operation of other equipment may require additional licensing, e.g., forklift, cranes. The incumbent may be assigned to work areas where certain potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present. These agents may include, but are not limited to: fumes, dust, noise, heat, ionizing and non- ionizing radiation, chemicals, etc. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
