ResponsibilitiesCoach and train production employees in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.Operate and maintain all engine room equipment, including boilers, pumps, compressors, condensers, and electrical systems.Develop and follow standard operating procedures for safety, health, environment, and production.Identify opportunities for productivity improvements.Troubleshoot PLC and electrical problems, making necessary changes.Complete and file all required logging for boiler information, hot work, engine room, and other records.Participate actively in continuous improvement, safety, and GMP standards.
Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED).5+ years of experience as a utilities technician (boilers or HVAC).Experience performing mechanical/electrical repairs on pumps, air compressors, and condensers.Comfortable troubleshooting and repairing boilers and other manufacturing machinery.Additional Skills & QualificationsBoilers License and/or EPA Universal Certification is a plus.Experience with welding, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems and components.Knowledge of steam systems, air compressors, valves, and electrical troubleshooting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $83200.00
