Job Summary
National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking a Utility Worker. The Utility Associate oversees assigned lines, minimizes rejects by checking pipe during and after the finishing process, and runs any necessary equipment. There is a $1000 sign-on bonus for this position with the first $500 paid after the first 3 months of continuous employment and another $500 paid after 6 months of continuous employment.
Job Responsibilities
Keeps area clean at all times Inspects pipe left on carts by the previous shift Assist Machine Tender during string up process Rework pipe Preband bundles and put in center bands Recycle steel-banding scraps Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
High School diploma or GED Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, and colleagues Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation
The hourly pay rate is $20.50/hr.
