Calculate, quote, and receipt water/sewer capacity and connection fees for developments.Process installment payment program applications and prepare related loan documents.Provide written confirmations and availability letters for water/sewer services and fees.Respond to inquiries about water/sewer availability and infrastructure locations.Prepare billing adjustments, customer refunds, and handle misapplied funds.Process and update code enforcement actions and records.Assist customers in person and by phone; manage appointment scheduling.Maintain and update policies, procedures, and mandatory program notifications.Coordinate Phillippi Creek Septic Program charges and low-pressure system agreements.Review and process permits and calculate the required water and/or sewer capacity and connection fees:
Review and process permits and calculate the required water and/or sewer capacity and connection fee for residential-zoned properties.Manage and monitor permit processes using tracking systems, including reviewing, approving, and coordinating with other departments.Handle customer and builder inquiries, notify of requirements, and process applications for permits and fire hydrant meter rentals.Maintain project documentation, complete necessary forms, and collect/receipt utility capacity and connection fees.Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
About YouMinimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or its equivalent.Three (3) years of clerical or customer service experience.One year of experience involved with the interpreting, enforcing, screening or monitoring of a regulatory process (such as permitting, planning, zoning, ordinances, licenses, building, taxes, etc.). Satisfactory Completion of Core Competencies or ability to obtain Core Competencies within six (6) months at the time of hire. Valid Florida driver’s license at the time of hire.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a utility customer service office/ high volume phone center and/or building permitting/building plans review experience.About Everything ElseStarting Pay Range: $19.86 - $21.25 , depending on experience
